Hello Everyone ~ I went shopping in my studio for my #ShopYourCraftStash Snow Much Fun creation.
Today is Michaela’s baby shower! It begins at noon and I am certain it will be a couple of hours. She had most of the items on her registry already purchased so I have a feeling she will be getting a lot of items she will need when the baby gets here. Rose, Josh’s mom, and Kate, Josh’s sister, along with one of her friends is hosting the shower. Rose and Kate always do a fabulous job with the parties they host so I am sure it will be fabulous. I will take photos and share them next week when I get back.
I wanted to use the Let It Snow dsp with a retired set as we had some great snowmen sets. I found a great set to use in Snow Much Fun. Who doesn’t love this chubby snowman tossing a snowball. Add in that little bird walking on the ball and you have a great image combo. I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used markers to color it in. I sponged on Pool Party ink for the snow. To add some sparkle like snow has I used the Wink of Stella on the snowman and snowball. The image panel was mounted onto a piece of Real Red card stock. The snowflake paper from Let It Snow was cut at 4″ wide and then the length was based on the snowman panel so that th edge of the paper was behind the panel. I added the dsp panel leaving the same size border on the top and 2 sides. The snowman panel was added on top at the bottom having the same size border as the top and sides. To finish off the card front I used one of the All is Calm Snowflake embellishments and tied a piece of Whisper White baker’s twine through the hole. This embellishment was then added to the card base using a glue dot. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Snow Much Fun creation.

Here is another idea for a snowman card using another cute image. This creation used a gel press to create the background. Want a tag idea? Check out this All is Bright Tag.
